Greetings to all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!! We are thankful to God who makes us victorious through Christ Jesus our Lord.

 

It is now time to make your plans to attend the 60th International Holy Convocation of The Church of God Pentecostal, Incorporated. We are excited to announce this year we are extending convocation to 10 days!! This year we are combining our Council meeting, Youth Convention, and Holy Convocation all into one meeting!!  This glorious event is scheduled to convene July 27 - August 5, 2012 at the International Temple, 818 Telegraph Rd., Prichard, Alabama. We are blessed this year to have in attendance some well-known profound preachers who will be preaching in this year’s convocation. If it be the Lord’s will, included in this line up will be Dr. Marvin Sapp, Dr. Norman Hutchins, Evangelist Beverly Willis, Bishop Craig Brown, and Dr. J.L. Felton.  All are encouraged to attend as we collectively seek God to renew, revive, and refresh our inner man.

 

Also, this year will be the fourth year we will bless God and show forth His praises in a Pre-Convocation Musical Concert Benefit. So come one, come all and lift up the holy name of Jesus in song. We hope to see you in attendance Sunday night, July 29, 2012 at 818 Telegraph Rd. Prichard, Alabama.

 

The International Registration Committee has been challenged to completely register 3,000 delegates for the Pre-Convocation Musical Concert Benefit and this year’s Convocation. We are charged to alleviate some of the stresses travelers experience when seeking hotel accommodations, exploring the city, or even indulging in pleasurable dining. In order to provide this information, we need your help. All those that plan to attend the Pre-Convocation Musical Benefit Concert and the 60th International Holy Convocation are asked to REGISTER BY April 15, 2012. By doing so, we will be able to better determine how many guests each of these franchises can expect to serve. 

 

Furthermore, I would like every person who registers who is a part of the COGP to designate your home church name at the bottom of the form where it says "Church you attend". If there are people who are not a part of the COGP then they should just put other. Pastors, if you do not want to give a form to all of your members to fill out then just send in one list and one check to the designated address at the bottom. Please designate someone in your church to collect the money for registration.
